Mondays! Not your worst day any longer!

     Last week we introduced ourselves and showed you into our studios while we were getting organized and while you will get to know us more as this grows into something amazing, we want to get to know you as well. We want to get to know what makes your crafty clock tic! So this is the start of us lending a helping hand for your creative blocks and just outright moods of not knowing what to do. And the great thing is you get two perspectives with everything that we get into.  

     So what is it now you may ask? We are going to jog those crafty brain cells into strong, fit, micro minis of inspiration! How? Simple, with weekly themes and monthly kits for you and us to experiment and play with! Now don't even think about trying to tell yourself "I don't have time", "I'm so busy." or make up any other excuses! You want this time, you need this time, you deserve this time! Make it happen. I work a full time job in management (which usually means I never stop working) and Christy is a full time mother, wife, and support system for her household (and I know she never stops working). So if we can take the time so can you! It's easy to find those 10 to 15 minutes here and there to add a stamp or flourish, you just have to look for them. So lets get to it!

     This week we will be combining the weekly creative theme and the Kit of the Month! This weeks theme: "FAMILY"!

     We all have one, and each has their own size, craziness, and characters. Concentrate on what you love about them, the moments you want to cherish and the little things that you may want your children to know later or grandchildren for that matter. Take this week and snap pictures of your loved ones, compile them into your own story line, or build up your photos for later projects. The point of all this is just to get out there and do something creative!

     Speaking of projects! Our Kit of the Month challenge keeps in with the theme of "FAMILY" and comes to us from Hobby Lobby!

There are tons to choose from! A great start for a creative jolt!

 

     Now which one to choose? Trust me when I say I wanted to grab up quite a few of these and take them home with me but I showed restraint and told myself I could only have one. This prevents my stash from taking over. ;) Do you see one that goes with our weekly theme? Look really close... The one in the middle? SURE!

 

     This months Kit of the Month is going to be "Family Tree from Paper Studio"! Don't forget your coupons! I have the Hobby Lobby App on my iPhone so I always have one at the ready when checking out, but good ol' fashioned printing it out works too! Christy and I will both be doing this kit so through the week we will give you posts centered around the "Family" theme and take you through our Kit of the Month progressions. I can't wait!
